JAY BRANDENBURG - ATTORNEY AT LAW

Mr. Brandenburg received the degree of Juris Doctor of Law in 1980 and has been a licensed attorney since that same year when he passed the California State Bar Exam. He has had a successful 31 year career with Northrop Grumman Corporation in the areas of Contracts, Finance and Engineering that gives him a broad view of the business world as well as a sincere appreciation for individuals’ day to day struggles with balancing their roles and commitments.

Jay’s passion for serving others and creating a lasting difference in their lives coupled with an intense interest in the multifaceted Estate Planning arena are an ideal combination of character traits for providing a service oriented Law Practice. A Law Practice that helps clients realize their desire to protect their family’s legacy and thereby provide for their loved ones long after they are gone.

Brandenburg Law has a special collaboration with Legal Legal, Inc. Together, they provide their clients with over 23 years of professional experience in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Estate & Tax Planning. The association with Mr. Richard Gaines offers clients additional depth from an experienced attorney who has the added credential of a Masters of Law Taxation. When I was helping my mom consider the value of a trust over simply adding my sister and myself to separate savings and CD accounts (as her mom and dad did for her and her own siblings back when I was a baby), it was nice to have the experienced, calm, quiet Jay Brandenburg at Legacy Legal LLP in Carlsbad, CA to explain the trust option to her. He discovered she, like some 68 percent of the folks out there, was without a will.
